The Football as accelerator of change event will feature keynote speeches from UEFA and from the city of Copenhagen, highlighting how Football and hosting UEFA events can support cities in reaching their smart and sustainable goals.
The event will kick-off with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between UNECE and UEFA, and an opening address from Olga Algayerova, UNECE Executive Secretary.
At the end, participants will have the opportunity to take photos with the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Women’s EURO trophies, which will be on display during the event.

Guillaume Poisson, UEFA Head of Host Relations & Event Experience will host the event, presenting the partnership between UNECE and UEFA, as well as highlighting how UEFA and Host Cities cooperate to deliver European tournaments and championships.
